“The first work for faith is within men & women themselves.  Smashing the idols is of no use if the hearts remain in their previous state of darkness.”

“An unwise person is one who finds a guide whom he solely depends on to take him through a dangerous path, when the guide dies, so do you.  A wise person is one who takes on a teacher who educates him about the dangerous path’s mapping out for him the danger, thus allowing him to survive if something was to happen to his guide.”

This is what knowledge does for the Muslim.

“It is not Muhammad (saws) task to drag you to paradise with a rope, rather his task is only to implant insight into your heart in order that you see the truth.”

So open your vessels (the heart) and allow the truth to seep in, thus transforming your soul.
