Who wants to Buy the Most Merciful’s Product?
Work for your eternal home, where Ridwan is the guardian
Ahmed is your neighbor and the Most Merciful is the developer
The land has gold, and musk is its soil, saffron is from the flowers that grow there
From its rivers are pure milk, honey, and wine, like nectar they flow throughout
The birds racing, and standing on branches glorifying Allah loudly with their sweet melodies
Who will purchase an expensive home in the garden of Eden built high, under the shade of the trees of paradise
Muhammed al-Mustafa is the sales agent and Allah is the builder and jibra’il calls out in all directions saying
Who will buy a house in firdaus and further develop it, with a rakah/prayer hidden in the darkness of the night
Or by feeding and filling a hungry person during a time of starvation and when inflation is high
Ourselves desire this world, even though we know salvation from it is by refraining from what it contains
We gather our wealth for those to inherit it and our houses that we build shall be ruined
There is no house for you to live in after death, except for the one you built before death (in paradise)
Where you will pick fresh fruits in the house of honor there, wherein is no boasting and no spoiling
Therein is eternal life and happiness without ending and no one can deliver the likes of it
The ear and eye have not heard or seen, nor can the imagination fathom what’s inside
So, O what miraculous blessings it has, if you make it there and it will have people who shall live there
Whoever, builds their place in the hereafter with goodness shall have a good home
And whoever builds it with evil shall have a wretched home
People are like seeds, and this world is like a millstone and the hand of death, waiting to grind, deceives us
Staying home will not rescue you from death, nor will running away save you
Those are empty houses over the horizon, they’ve become ruins and their inhabitants have all tasted death
Where are the kings who have forgotten the turn till the servant gives them their drink of death
The centuries have passed and with them everyone
Hence, death takes away and destroys all in its path
We aspire and hope for all that makes us pleased, yet death devours us and with our dreams
Therefore, plant the foundation of taqwa while you are still able to
And be certain that after death you shall meet and receive all you have sown
